Freelance Overtimer

Good evening, readers!

How was your Monday?

Pretty busy, I bet.

Hidayuki has gotten her hands full too.

Being the secretary of the class is quite handful.

It's almost 23:30 yet I am still working on stuff here.

My desk was so messy that I had to work on the floor.

LOL.

Sharing #2 : Japanese Greetings

Good evening, my dear wise readers!

Saturday night.

I bet most of you have plans for tonight, am I right?

Big plans like sight-seeing or shopping or anything you have been planning.

And small plans like relaxing in your own house (or room).

Well, whatever your plan is, please enjoy yourselves.

Tanoshin de kudasai. (Japanese -  Please enjoy.)

Oh! I just use japanese!

hihihi. . .

Actually, I want to share something japanese tonight.

I been studying the language since 2007 through Animax on Astro (Malaysia).

It's been so long. It's not an easy task.

Learning an entirely different language than your mother-tongue,

without a teacher to guide.

Really hard. Real pain in the butt.

But I managed somehow. =)

Even it is just the basics.

Be proud of yourself, Hidayuki!

So now, back to the main part. . . greetings are the most important ones for you to master.

The Japanese really mind courtesy, you know.

Here's some greetings might be useful to those whose starting to learn the language.

Good morning

Good afternoon

Good evening

Good night

Good bye & See you soon

Those are some of the basics. . . to conclude them all, here's a picture of what we have learnt above.

In class, I often use ohayo gozaimasu and shitsureishimasu whenever I come in.

I don't know why, but speaking the language can be fun if you enjoy learning it.

Ganbatte, minna!

(Japanese - がんばって、みんな! Good luck, everyone!)

If you have anything to ask about japanese, feel free to email me, Hidayuki at hidayukimotosuwa@gmail.com. I'll be waiting! (^_^)

Today's Smile #10 : Mano Erina

Today's Smile #9 - Anna Popplewell

Hello, wise readers!

How is your Friday?

Today's smile, I chose Anna Popplewell.

An actress.

Or,

to be precise... an English film/television/theater actress.

I got a smile of Popplewell

in her movie, The Chronicles of Narnia (2005).

Anna Popplwell as Susan Pevensie (2005)

Now,

here's the key for Today's Smile:

Smile, even if it hurts. . . your simple smile has the power to make others smile. - the smiley-faced Hidayuki

Magic? Maybe.

Good day, wise readers!

How do you do?

I, Hidayuki, had been living well in the new semester ahead of us.

This is the last semester of my foundation course on campus.

Next year, if I passed, I will be taking the full course of teaching.

Brilliant!

(can't wait for that. . . )

So, what's up?

Hidayuki had been hanging around The Chronicles of Narnia movies lately.

I have to admit.

C. S. Lewis really did an extremely wonderful novel.

Just like the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling,

Narnia gives something magical

to it readers.

And now that they have adapted it into movies,

the fun has been boosted!

Do you know Narnia?

If you don't, how about kicking off with their movies?

. . . if you don't enjoy novels though.

I won't be sharing about this movie here.

Go ask Prof. Google for more info. ; )

What I want to share is. . .

a key.

From me.

It may not work all the time,
but the greatest magic exist
in the spell God has cast
in you.

The only thing you need to do is
find it deep in yourself.
Trust & faith.

- the girl who likes to imagine, Hidayuki

Sharing #1 - Sotsugyou TIME (卒業TIME)

Good evening, wise readers!

How do you do?

Here, I would like to share a nice song.

Sotsugyou TIME by WaT

Come, sing along with WaT! ( ^ __ ^ ) here's the lyrics (from megchan.com) :

Minna tomo ni sugoshita hibi wa
Toki wo koete taisetsu na mono
Rarara... Rarara...
That day we talked all night
Until the sky was white with fog
As time passes, the days we spent together
Become something precious to me
Lalala...

As the sun goes down, I stand in the same old place
Even when I'm away from this familiar town, I remember
Time passes and we each go down our own roads
Our feelings riding on hopes and dreams
The promise we made just before dawn
(I feel forever...)

Like stars scattered in the sky
We shine now
Someday we'll break through the darkness
To reach our dreams
I wish you happiness
Lalala...

I walk down the tree-lined street
Like walking through my memories
This familiar road continues on forever
Time passes and all our dreams
One by one become reality
If I can, I'd like to stand shoulder-to-shoulder
With you and share your happiness
(I believe forever...)
I'll always remember
The tears shed that day
It's not that I've forgotten past mistakes
I'm just running through the present right now
Lalala...

Like a distant dream
That no one's seen before
My feelings will never change
Wo wow wow wow
Even if we're far apart
We're under the same sky
I am, I am
...Not alone

Like stars scattered in the sky
We shine now
Someday we'll break through the darkness
To reach our dreams
I wish you happiness

That day we talked all night
Until the sky was white with fog
As time passes, the days we spent together
Become something precious to me
Lalala... Lalala...

How's the song?

I really like the lyrics...

About a dream chaser.

Kisah Rokok dan Epal

Seorang lelaki bercerita, "Ketika aku melaksanakan solat tahiyyatul masjid, aku mencium bau asap rokok yang menyengat dan mengusik khusyukku. Setelah mengucapkan salam, aku menoleh mencari sumber bau. Aku mendapati seorang lelaki Mesir dengan bibirnya yang hitam. "Aku akan menasihatinya nanti setelah solat," gumamku. Namun, seorang anak kecil berusia sekitar 9 tahun tiba-tiba menghampiri lelaki tersebut. Terjadilah dialog antara mereka berdua.

Si anak membuka bicara,

"Assalamu'alaikum pakcik. Pakcik dari Mesir?"

"Ya pakcik dari Mesir."

"Pakcik kenal Syeikh Abdul Hamid Kasyak?"

"Ya, pakcik kenal."

"Syeikh Jadul Haqq?"

"Ya, pakcik kenal."

"Syeikh Muhammad Al-Ghazali?"

"Ya, pakcik kenal."

"Pernah tak pakcik dengar kaset-kaset ceramah dan fatwa mereka?"

"Ya, pakcik pernah dengar."

"Bukankah mereka semua tu adalah para syeikh (alim ulama') yang mengatakan bahawa rokok tu haram, tapi kenapa pakcik membelinya?"

Dengan agak tergagap, lelaki itu menjawab, "Bagi pakcik, rokok tak haram!"

"Rokok hukumnya haram, pakcik.

"Athfal Lakin Du'at" karya Nashir Syafi'i...

Idolling!!

Audition!

This reminds me of the AF9 Audition I joined last year.

Too bad the audition is in Japan.

I want to join too! (Just kidding!)

This might sound unnecessary, but...
the truth is,

I have always wanted to be an idol.

But the path I have taken now is far
far from the path to be an idol.

Because teachers aren't allowed to participated in such things.

Politics

Entertainment.

or other things not related with learning and teaching.

Educators supposed to be an example to our students.

So my dream will always remain as a dream.

Here's someone I know
who left the world of entertainment
to continue studying,
and doing her best to make her dreams come true.

Maeda Yuuka (Yuukarin)

seems to me the world of entertainment
is fun and challenging.

but Yuukarin left it for something better

I know nothing about the dark side of my dream.
Perhaps it's better to leave it
just the way I had them in mind.

Being a teacher is fun...
I got the whole school to play with.

Right!

Today's Smile #7

I'm supposed to post this yesterday.
But... oh well, better late than never, right? =)

Here's Today's Smile for June 5th, 2012 :

"This is not the end. This is just the beginning."

Today's Smile #6

I am smiling...

because I don't want to give unnecessary comments
you might not want to hear anyway.

P/S: This isn't hypocrisy ... this is what I call protecting a relationship. =)

Confession ~ Today's Smile #3 ~

"Being separated from the ones you love and trust can steal the real you.
Just a minor fall can brings you down.
Stay true to yourself.
No one can be you except you."
